FlatLux is greeting you with Victory Day, a holiday that holds a special place in our hearts. It’s a day of Memory, Dedication and Hope. The victory of our people against fascist invaders in Great World War II is the day that does not belong exclusively to our past. There are no family in our country that have not been affected by that horrible war –the bloodiest wars of the twentieth century. Millions of people laid down their lives to give future generations a chance to live free and independent, to preserve our great culture and spiritual treasures. This holiday became a symbol of our people’s heroism, unity and patriotism. Every year on May 9 we give our respect the heroes who gave us a precious gift of freedom and peace, to those who fought at front lines and home front, to those who was rebuilding our country in difficult afterwar years. We are very happy that every year hundreds of guests come to Hero City Kiev to celebrate this holiday.
